Duresta has been making high quality upholstery since 1938. It's factory is located in Long Eaton, a Nottinghamshire town renowned for the skill of its people in all aspects of furniture making, from

the traditional joinery of frame makers through to all kinds of fabric cutting and sewing expertise and,

of course, an unrivaled understanding of upholstery.


THE COLLECTIONS

The Belvedere Range from Duresta is a classic style which lends itself to many different fabrics of your choice, in turn giving you flexibility to suit your own style. The quality of the construction and finish is sublime, making it a choice for the more discerning.


Constructed from hardwood the frame is incredibly strong and rigid yet lightweight. The designs are complemented by a variety of polished wood and caster leg finish options.


There are four cushion filler options; fibre, feather, Supawrap and Duralux. Part of the English Classics range.


A touch of international luxury runs through the design of the Blanchard range.


Supplied in several different sizes and fabrics.The seat and back cushions can be duck feather, fiber, swapwrap or featherlux. Scatter cushions are supplied on all models , and they can be contrasted in different fabrics to create that perfect look for your room.


Here is the sheer opulence of the Duresta Blanchard Royale Grand Chair in the three cushion version. The back cushions, seat cushions and the scatters all have a contrast piping.


The turned feet of the chair are polished in the antique wood shade as is the standard specification for this suite.

The Trafalgar, part of our National Trust furniture Range, is inspired by sofas found at Trust properties, such as Knole in Kent. It is characterized by a deep seat and high back, with hinged high arms that can drop down to form a day bed – like the one Lord Nelson used on HMS Victory during the Battle of Trafalgar.
