Winter

Snow might be peppering the peaks of the Atlas Mountains, but temperatures in the heart of Marrakech are still ideal for holidaying. Not swelteringly hot but warm enough for a t-shirt, it’s the perfect season to explore the exotic scents, sights and squares of the Medina and the rich experiences on offer in Morocco. Though the days are comfortably warm, it can get chilly at night – it’s best to bring a couple of layers with you if you want to go exploring the spectacle of Djemaa El-Fna after dark!

The temperatures drop off from the heady heights of summer, meaning more time to explore all the experiences offered by this exotic and enigmatic city. No visit is complete without a trip through the Bab Bou Jeloud to the vibrant souks and squares of the Medina, and if you feel the need for outdoor adventure head to the Atlas Mountains for a little hiking or horseback riding.
