LAMBORGHINI UNVEILS ITS VISIONARY SPORTS CAR OF THE FUTURE
LAMBOURGHINI the Italian supercar giant has unveiled its car of the future with the Terzo Millennio, an electric hyper-car concept. More than just a beautiful car the Terzo Millennio is also the name of the unique project partnership with MIT who are bringing the concept car to life.
The Terzo Millennio intends to do away with normal batteries with MIT looking into the use of supercapacitors for power. The next step is to develop a pack able to give lots of peak power, regenerate, and have limited degradation over the car’s lifetime. The collaboration with MIT aims to “overcome the limits of today’s technology and close the gap on conventional batteries’ energy density”. Some talk of ‘thinking outside the box’ has been deployed.
This visionary concept physically imagines design and technology of tomorrow through a possible future Lamborghini electric super sports car, which aims to deliver the most emotional and ultimate driving experience.
