Roger Dubuis Unveils New Lamborghini Limited Edition
Ahead of the upcoming January’s SIHH watch event, Geneva-based Roger Dubuis has revealed its latest new timepiece as part of its #Dare to Race partnership with Lamborghini - The Excalibur Aventador S
As the name would suggest the watch is inspired by Lamborghini's flagship high-performance roadster the Aventador S and is offered as two exclusive models
- The Aventador S model EX613 will be limited to 88 pieces worldwide with a retail price of $185,000, and is distinguishable by its yellow accents
- The Aventador S model EX624 ill be limited to only 8 pieces ($205,000) and will be identifiable by its orange accents and represents a world-premier use of C-SMC carbon in watches.
The case of each of these watches is a robust 45mm in diameter, and is outfitted with a highly skeletonized movement that takes design cues from an Aventador S engine. Rose gold is used for the hour indices, while the hands are made of black-coated gold with luminous SLN-filled tips.
Pricing for the new watches is yet to be announced, but is expected to be confirmed at SIHH 2018, which runs from 15 – 19 January
