EVER WONDERED WHAT TO DO WITH THAT OLD LOUIS VUITTON BAG?
Just ask American artist Gabriel Dishaw..
Known to his followers as the "Junk Artist" upcycler Gabriel Dishaw who previously captured everyone attention with his Nike sculptures has created these awesome sculptures inspired by Star Wars using Louis Vuitton bags and other upcycled materials.
Created entirely from found objects — typewriters, keyboards, airplane parts and computer chips — Gabriel Dishaw takes these innocuous pieces of garbage and trash and transforms them into upcycled contemporary pieces of art art. OK so his latest collection of star wars sculptures does include the luxurious Louis Vuitton so we can't exactly class them as trash but the the stunning pieces from the cult classic include infamous villain Darth Vader and C3PO, with new attributes; ‘Samurai Vader’ featuring horned metallic headgear.
Through his recycled works, Gabriel Dishaw aims to create a dialogue about finding new and creative ways to environmentally re-purpose e-waste whilst still being unique
