LG 88-inch 8k OLED - The future of ultra-high definition TV
Its a new year which ultimately means new tech, and LG have kicked off with a bang by unveiling a massive 88-inch OLED screen with an eye-popping 8K resolution, making it not only the highest-resolution OLED screen but also the biggest.
The native resolution is 7680 x 4320 pixels and for any techno buff out there that's twice the vertical resolution and twice the horizontal resolution of a typical 4K version. Put in simpler terms the 8k OLED provides four times as many pixels as the current 4K TVs
LG have not revealed how much this impressive TV will cost but bear in mind the 77-inch OLED screen with 4K resolution costs $20,000 so it’s not going to be cheap!
