Winter has Arrived! The ultimate Game of Thrones experience
Game of Thrones fans may still have to wait until 2019 for the penultimate final season, but in the meantime they can visit the next best thing.
HBO Nordic has partnered with Lapland Hotels SnowVillage to give Game of Thrones fans the ultimate fan experience a GOT inspired ice hotel in the resort of Kittilä, located just 90 minutes outside of Hensinki.
With Intricate ice sculptures depicting themes, the Braavosi Hall of Faces, dragons and characters from the show the 14 bedrooms and 10 suites offer guests the opportunity to sleep on beds completely made of ice. Although, they may want to sleep with one eye open as White Walkers tower overhead!
Sadly the hotel will only be around until early April 2018 before it melts, with rooms starting from $200 (£148) a night, with an additional $18 (£15) fee for entry to the SnowVillage.
