Explorersled is a collection of luxury furniture designed for those who like to share adventure from the comfort of their ski chalet. The collection is inspired by many trips over the Alps from Scotland to Italy. Most people don’t have the time for slow travel, so we decided to fuel their imagination by creating furniture that would encourage them to take an imaginary sled adventure, enjoy the playfulness of it and perhaps revisit some of the dreams they had as children. To imagine themselves as pioneers journeying through the Alps, crossing Antarctic, reaching new territories and making history, whilst still enjoying a little aperitvo in the sunshine.
The Explorersled collection consists of a single and double bed, daybed / sun lounger, single and double boot stool, folding butler's tray, clothes stand and leather swing. There is also an accessory range which consists of a sled lamp that attaches to the bed and a leather trail bag which attaches to the rails of the sleds for holding your mobile phone, suncream, book or anything else that you want to keep safe.
The furniture is made from solid and steam bent ash and is complemented with leather and copper. The leather is sourced from a British tannery and both the leather and the copper work are hand tooled in Edinburgh.

The explorersled sled stool is made from solid and steam bent laminated ash in the tradition of skis and sledges. It comes as a single or double and can be used both as an occasional stool or as a boot bench to make those awkward ski boot moments a little more comfortable. The leather top makes it very hard wearing and the more its used the better it looks.

The folding butler’s tray made from solid ash, with leather and copper fittings is the perfect way to serve your drinks. The tray lifts off, the stand folds and the table can move around the room with you. The table can also be purchased in a larger size and also as a coffee table.
